Check your facts on the Chancellor's salary. I looked it up via the Sacramento Bee's state pay index (Google: "california state employee pay" ,should be the first link). It is actually $400,000 NOT $450,000 as you said on the website.

I absolutely agree that the salary is outrageous. Especially since our Chancellor has a Univesity paid for house, which I'm sure the University also pays the utilities for. I also saw a news report in December (on KCRA I believe) that the Chancellor spent nearly $2,000 on Christmas lights, all University money.

I agree there is BS, just make sure facts are straight.

Thank you very much for the fact checking. In the Sacramento Bee article that I cited, $450,000 was in the sentence previous to the one mentioning the Chancellor's salary and I must have glanced at the wrong number. The error has been fixed.
